Report on the Situation on the Rights of Women in Migration and Their Children in Mexico Submitted to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)

Several organizations, networks and human rights advocates have worked together to provide information on the current situation of women in migration in Mexico. This report focuses on specific inadequacies rooted in Mexican policy and legislation that fail to provide equality between migrant men and women, especially in the workplace. The document was prepared by Colectivo Migraciones para las Américas and submitted to the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
