WIMN Briefing Documents – Civil Society Days – GFMD, Quito 2020

[Updated] WIMN prepared several briefing papers for the Civil Society Days (CSD) and the Global Forum on Migration & Development (GFMD) in Quito, Ecuador, January 2020. These documents describe the “gender dimension” of various migration issue, and include WIMN’s recommendations, and the international policies that are relevant to each.

WIMN members participated in several events in Ecuador in addition to the CSD and GFMD. This includes:

• The People’s Global Action on Migration, Development and Human Rights
• A Women’s Caucus at the PGA
• A side event on “Shaping Public Narratives on Migration” on 21 January
