The Spotlight Report on Global Migration (SRGM) examines progress and emerging issues for migrants from a human rights perspective, addressing six key issues in the context of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM): Regular Pathways; Care Economy; Climate Crisis; Regularization; Criminalization; and The Digital World.
WIMN is launching this report, with the support of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, to inform advocacy efforts at the second International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) in New York on 5 to 8 May 2026.
The IMRF is an opportunity to make clear that migrants cannot be excluded from fundamental human rights, from public and family life, from decent work, or from influencing the policies that impact them.
